Cannoli are Sicily’s signature pastry – delicious and crispy, the dough is rolled into the characteristic tube and fried, originally filled with fresh ricotta candied fruits and pistachio, but now with a wide range of flavoured cream fillings. Finally they are dusted with icing sugar and are ready to eat. Perfect as an indulgent treat with an espresso, a cappuccino or a cup of tea if you prefer.
Ingredients: Pistachio filling cream (58%): sugar, vegetable oils (sunflower, palm), skimmed milk powder, whey powder (milk), Lactose (milk), pistachio nuts (9%), emulsifier: soya lecithin; flavourings. Pastry (40%): wheat flour, sugar, sunflower oil, butter (milk), flavourings, malt (barley malt extract, toasted malt flour (wheat, barley), cereal flour (wheat, malted barley)), fructose, honey, egg yolk, salt, yeast. Decoration (2%): dextrose, wheat starch, vegetable fats (palm, coconut), vanillin.
